The girls enjoyed their New Year's celebration. We had burritos and cheese pizza for dinner (at the girls' request) and cheesecake for dessert complemented by sparkling apple-pomegranate juice. The girls thought their plastic margarita glasses were so cool.
After dinner we played a couple games of Sorry and watched a little of a New Year's special. Despite having plans to stay up until midnight, no one made it. Mommy, Brianna and Mallory were asleep by 10:30. (Just before closing her eyes, Mallory said, "Maybe next year I'll stay up Mommy...") Scott and Madeline made it to 11:00.
