As you can see, seasonal appropriateness obviously means nothing to her. It behooves me to have at least one of the dresses clean at all times, because she has been known to sort through the dirty clothes to find one to wear.
I must say that I am enjoying this phase. Currently, Brianna is the only one of my children who happily gets dressed on her own every morning - typically just minutes after opening her eyes. She carefully selects her dress, tights, headband and necklace. (The pink butterfly headband apparently goes with everything.)
I'm planning to sign her up for a little soccer class at the community center. She promised me that she will wear tennis shoes, but I'm pretty sure she's planning to go in a fancy dress! I hope the soccer coach is understanding...
