Little Angels Choir Concert

Madeline sang in our church's choir concert at the end of April. All the church choirs participated: the Little Angels Choir (grades K-2), the Junior Choir (grades 3-5), the Middle School Choir (grades 6-8) and the Adult Choir.

Madeline almost quit choir at the beginning of the year. She finally told me that she was angry that all they were doing was practicing. She wanted to sing in the church in front of people! (She knows that I sing with the adult choir at church every Sunday and I think that's what she was expecting to do.) She was very happy once they started singing in church and she had a blast at the concert. She got to get dressed up, sing songs, stay up way past her bedtime and consume large quantities of cookies and punch! What's not to like about that?
