Madeline loves to read! She is really excited about the summer reading program at the library. For every 4 hours that she reads (or that I read to her) she gets a prize. She has already earned two. She apparently fell asleep working toward the next prize.
Her favorite books right now are Amelia Bedelia. She can read those on her own. In addition, we just finished reading Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing (Judy Blume) together and have started Superfudge. I think she really identifies with Peter Hatcher... Having younger siblings is tough!
