Brianna and her best friend, Marissa, started school on Monday. OK, it's not really school, but it's as close as they are going to get this year. They are attending a little class at the community center called "My Own Time." They go for an hour every Monday. The teacher runs it like a mini preschool with storytime, crafts, snack, free play and music. (It's really a jam-packed hour!)
Brianna had a great time at school. In addition to making her craft, she got to eat applesauce and listen to a story. And, according to Brianna, she even made a new friend! She is really looking forward to going next Monday.
Yesterday's class was all about apples. Here is Brianna with the craft she made - it's a caramel apple. She had to paint the paper plate and then put caramel on it (real caramel.) She was very proud of it.
