Mallory Turns 5!

Miss Mallory turned 5 on November 25th! She had a great birthday and celebrated several times.

Celebration #1: Preschool
Mallory brought yellow frosted sugar cookies and gave each of her classmates a beautiful plastic gemstone ring. (We told the boys that they could give them to their mommies.)

<--- Here's Mallory with her preschool teacher. Mallory's wearing the birthday crown that she made in class. Note that she insisted on wearing a fancy dress for her birthday celebration.

Celebration #2: Cupcake party with the Martins
It has become a tradition to celebrate birthdays with the Martins after school and this birthday was no exception. We dined on strawberry flavored cupcakes with pink frosting and sprinkles. Mallory and Brianna were in charge of the sprinkles.

Celebration #3: Red Robin
Having a birthday lunch or dinner at Red Robin has also become a tradition in our family. Mallory enjoyed being serenaded by the Red Robin waitstaff and really enjoyed her chocolate sundae. She somewhat graciously shared with her sisters.

Celebration #4: Cheesecake with Mom, Dad & sisters
Last, but not least, Mallory blew out the candles on a cheesecake. (I would have made her a cake, but she was very wishy-washy this year and wouldn't commit to anything.) She enjoyed the cheesecake.
