Doesn't she look ready??Mallory and her friend Jenna started their first swim class on Monday. Mallory was so excited. She had been wearing her new purple goggles around the house for several days and was ecstatic when she could wear them "for real" in the pool.
They worked on front float, back float, kicking (good kicking vs. bad kicking), putting their faces in the water, blowing bubbles, jumping into the water and getting out. Mallory had a great time. She keeps asking when she gets to go back.
We did have to go out after her class to buy her a new swimsuit. She has apparently grown quite a bit since last summer, as her old swimsuit barely fit. Pictures of the new swimsuit will be posted later. It's pretty cute. She picked it out herself.
