Madeline attended Vacation Bible School at the beginning of August. Initially, she did not want to go. Then, once we got there, she really didn't want to go. Not only was she in the green group, but her leader was a boy! It was a slow progression, but by the end of the week she absolutely loved it. She made a new friend (the little girl to the right of her) and she had a great time with her leader, Dave. In fact, she has requested to be in his group next year, even if that means being on the green team again! (She has also stated that if she has a boy baby, she's going to name him Dave.) She had so much fun. Here she is performing three of the songs that she learned:
