Scott celebrated his 37th birthday on Saturday. We took him out for dinner at Texas Roadhouse and then sang Happy Birthday and ate pink cupcakes at home.
Madeline, Mallory and Brianna each made him a Star Wars themed card and they helped make the cupcakes. Brianna put the cupcake papers in the pan and Madeline and Mallory poured in the batter.
Madeline and Mallory also rehearsed a special version of Happy Birthday which they performed for Scott early Saturday morning. Madeline sang Happy Birthday while Mallory sang the Barbie & the 12 Dancing Princesses birthday song at the same time. It was kind of like a round, but not really. It was two completely different songs sung simultaneously. It was cute. (They told us they had spent time practicing together!)
